Macon-Prissé Nicolas Rousset 2010 ***
His color is yellow, his nose is complex and open of quince confit. The attack is smooth, the middle with a little gas at the opening is right semi-long, semi-expanded. The retro-olfaction is fresh with a nice minerality and aromas of dried fruit. This edge wine is nice and clean. You can drink it.
Pouilly-Fuisse 2009 Cuvée Henri (open 24 hours)
The color is yellow gold
The nose is discreet of pear William with a little toasted
The attack is smooth
The middle is wide, long and concentrated
The Final is Round
The retro-olfaction is complex with fruit alcohol, pear, toast and mineral
Tis wine is a beatiful Pouilly Fuissé. This wine is good now but we can also forget it in the cellar. May be the best vintage master of Nicolas
Very good classic :
Nicolas Rousset works on only 4 hectares of vines. Macon, Pouilly-Fuisse, Saint-Veran are his appellations. He took over the estate of his grandfather in 2000. Thanks to Serge Dupont (cellar vineyards of France), I knew this virtuoso mastering increasing its vinification without input. Only the sulfur is added, its wines are pure and clean. Drink now the Saint-Veran and Macon, and leave in the cellar for 3 years the Pouilly-Fuisse and St. Veran Monchanin.
